Ok I see all these fancy binds and cool dismounts from even simple tricks but why doesnt anyone teach these simple things to us beginners.
I know of one way to bind and would love to learn the proper way to bind from say a trapeze or a breakaway style throw..
Any vids? Anyone up to the challenge of bringing a few good tutorials to us newbs looking for dismounts and a better binding/bind videos?
How about transitional pieces for going from one trick to another ie, Braintwister mount to say a Split Bottom Mount etc.
Thanks in advance
Brett

ok so since im lefty if I pull it to my right it tightens it, is there a reverse of it?

Nope... that's the problem.. But since you're lefty and you string tends to loosen instead of tighten it's really all you need.
Well... actually you can do it out of a 1.5 mount and loosen or tighten the string but it's really awkward. Maybe I'll do a video teaching the split bottom one and the 1.5 mount. Sound good?
I'll try to get it out tomorrow....

There are binds on a lot of sites, including this one...

But, Yo_shi covered all of those. Dave bind is my favorite.

Actually, Vguitars, if you do want to loosen your string you can do exactly what us right-handers do except have the yoyo spinning the other way.
Just throw your yoyo as in a normal front-style throw, turn your body around 180 degrees, and continue, or throw it behind you or whatever.
So have it spinning toward you, do the mach five-esque mount and pull the string out to your right with your free hand.
I think that will work.

When I adjust string tension, I never do a split bottom mount.
I just hold the string and pop the yoyo up so it spins the string out.Theyo.com: The Final Frontier. To boldly troll where no troll has trolled before...
