Well both of these yoyos are the same price, and not even the pocket change can beat them in that aspect so as you already know they're quite a deal.

    Over view

    ONE
The one is celcon I'm sure most of you already know that, it looks and feels more like an angular lyn fury, and from what I've read it's supposed to play the same as one. Personally I feel as if it's a lighter lyn, which is good for people who like lighter yoyos or if they like to put their own weights in. BUT, it is CURSED with vibe like NO OTHER! this is beyond god awful, there is a reason they say you get what you pay for, and there's also a reason why yyf throws in a spec bearing OR a Dvd, and this is that reason... though to say it is not good for beginers on a tighter budget than a yyj plastic, I'd say it's perfect for em. by the time they get better they'll have better yoyos.

As intended this is supposed to be an entry level yoyo which is perfect because I grabbed a 2nd one for my buddy who's getting into yoyoing. (we swapped halves thus the bapezilla color way) also the fact that it comes with a thin and regular bearing is perfect seeing as he's still getting used to binding, and it's good for me because when I've got my case on me at school for the days of yoyo club I'll have the thin bearing on me so others can use it, definitely a carry around throw, and no more need to yell at people “YOU CAN'T BRING IT UP FOOL!!!!” well maybe not that harsh but.... w/e

    WHIP
like a grind machine/counterattack/dienasty with out weight rings, I actually had some pgm nuts left over from when I was having some trouble with mine and decided to snag a spare axle and some z stacks to make an all black yoyo that I like to call the ninja! The rest of the review will be without the stacks though, (thing's sick for 5a with stacks though)

    shape and feel

    ONE
Like if a Speed maker, and a Lyn were to have a baby, quite sharp, but when you pick it up it feels a little malnourished, and then lyn found out speeder was beating their child and has since then been put in jail, One on the other hand is now now has been permanently scared.... but in all seriousness, it feels fine in the hand I would say that if it were a tad wider it would be fine but you really can't do anything about that. (if this offends anyone please contact me and I'll change it, I do apologize in advance for any offence given.)

    WHIP
pgm, counterattack, dienasty.... need I say more? As for the feel in the hand, it's a lighter one of those *points to list of yoyos he listed off earlier* it's even got the same bb'd finish as them.

    Play

    ONE
If someone took dubstep and turned it into a yoyo this would be it WOBBLE WOBBLE WOBBLE WOBBLE. but other than the vibe aside it plays quite well, you honestly can't feel it unless you grind and then you think OH DEAR GOD WHAT AM I PLAYING!!!!

    WHIP
Still has some vibe but not as bad as the One, it's got more rim weight so it's nice and heavy playing on the string, though due to it still being a lighter throw, you can still whip it around as if there's nothing on the string

    BOTH
If you're doing 5a, you'll want to use a game die, drill a hole in one and there ya go, you do not want to use a duncan die/any other manufactured die.

    CONCLUSION
BEGINERS!!!! get the ONE if you can't afford a yyj plastic, it comes with spec bearing, it plays well for the price. And if you can bind, snag the Whip instead, it plays amazingly.

WEATHERED PLAYERS!!!! if you need a spec bearing (which retail for 11 bucks) GET THE ONE! it's a buck cheaper and you get a half spec and a nice beater 4a yoyo, (yup done it and it's pretty fun.). as for my comments on the whip, pretty much what I said before.

    WINNER!!!

    WHIP wins
    play
    minimal vibe
    value - play ratio
    feel

    ONE wins
value (a dollar less on bearing)
    beginer
carry around for people who constantly get asked if someone can use theirs.

P.S. might I add that the ONE is just a rebranded Burst spin axe by aoda, so you can save yourself 5 bucks and get an aoda KK if you're ok with doing that.

I do chain maille, you can see it here and here.

Odd, my One does not wobble and the vibe is very slight. Guess I got a "goof One"!

tried both my friends and mine, the vibe is god awful. I'm sure if it didn't do that it would be a great yoyo, also who knows, maybe I was the one who got the goof, oh well, it's not like it'd be my main throw any way. As I said, I only got it so others can use it.

been down that road, it's been an annoying road with nothing at the end but a slightly less vibey yoyo.

The ONE that I had was surprisingly smooth out of the box, and after I tuned it I only felt vibe on grinds.

Did you throw them before you swapped halves? Maybe they just don't like eachother~

the one is not a rebranded aoda as far as I'm concerned, played both and while they look similar, they don't play the same (aoda actually plays a little better IMO)

I do think tho, that the aoda and aero katana are indeed the same throws

will get my whip later this week, and I have 2 ones (one red, pray for japan/fatlace ed)

My ONE only had a vibe/wobble problem after I took it apart. I adjusted the torque when assembleing it and the problem dissapeared! I marked the sides so I can duplicate the setting. Now its so good I bought a second ONE.
