do i turn both halves at a time, or one half at a time?

and as for the bearing, there's a gap i can get my finger nails in, and it's not firmly snapped, cause they're easy to pry appart... that's how i got it, and i can't get them in any farther. they do make a click sound
Check for flash under the bearing seat.

Make sure the bearing seat isn't crooked. Make the bearing is sitting even.

Make sure your yo-yo is screwed together firmly. This sounds like it could solve all your problems.

I have tightened it, even I thought that that was the problem. I tightened it as far as possible without cracking the yoyo

I got mine today along w/ a Purple Journey (Thanks mike!) and am in absolute love! These things are awesome! Only thing I need to do is sand off the mold marks. :)

My first yoyo was a Lyn, got it in late september and 've been playing it all the time since then. This afternoon, I got my first 'serius' yoyo. Hubstacked PGM. Out of the box I had to clean bearing in one stack, because it was dirty and could hardly spin, but nevermind...

All I can say... If you haven't tried hubstacked yoyos yet - get one PGM, otherwise - save some money for M1 or whatever. It's not amazing. It's good, just good...
