spin times compared to.... a cleaned stock bearing?

does it spin freely when on a pencil?
    are the shields... removable?

i don't know about those, http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/12258 but these are nice.
a very thin lube and they use a slightly larger ball in the bearing cage, to make it less likely to break(it's meant for rc racing) they spin freely and true, plus the rubber sheilds are nice not trying to jack your thread just comparing other rubber sheilded bearings.

anything with rubber shields is not exactly good

    as kyo explained to me:
the rubber shields are made for things that can take major damage...i.e not yoyo bearings. the rubber shields touch both races of the bearing, making unwanted friction.

I don't know, but you could experiment and then we will know your results. If you do remove the shields please post a picture of what the inside of the bearing looks like.
