My zero's. Im sure I will end up with more. My favourite plastic yoyo, ever.

Some siliconed, some sticker recessed, some MSCR's, one hspin bearinged, all loved.

Thanks for the compliment, but those were never for sale. I made them as a gift for the guys on TheYo Crew and they're the only ones who have them AFAIK. Sorry!


I have nearly 1,500 photo's on my Flickr and this next Zero is the most viewed picture out of all of them.



NWD had it originally, then Paul Wallace had it at one time. Not sure where it is now. I get requests all the time to make another one, but so far this is the only one I've made with BAPE caps.

@ Luke, How'd you get the BAPE picture on the caps?



My first and favorite freehand. IT was a christmas present from my grandmother and I got it pad recessed by Tyler(?) Severence at Indy States '08(?)

2006 worlds freehand zero, I recessed it and painted it. Eventually it got into the hands of Skapunk7(at SCR...06 or 07?), who took this picture. Good times.

An imposter, but it still rocks, 4xl with fhz caps. Yoyo cut not the caps so it can take any Zcaps.

@ Luke, How'd you get the BAPE picture on the caps?

I used a decal kit for model cars that you can make your own custom decals with. It didnt work out too well but gave me enough of an outline to work with that I saved it with a Sharpie, some paint, and clear coat. Since the kit didnt work out as well as I had hoped and ended up being more hassle than it was worth, I've pretty much quit making custom caps altogether.

If you have it, please sell it to me, ill give you a kidney for it.

Jared or Denny had it when we crashed at Mark's place for TN States back in July. Maybe one of them still has it? At any rate, that's one of the most amazing dye jobs that I've ever seen, and in person it's much more amazing! When I saw it in his case, I nearly had a heart attack and begged him to trade it to me. No luck though.

@ RSHJ - I've always loved that World's Zero you splatter painted. That thing looks like ICE!

Highwalled metal zero1, i did this on my ghetto rig drilled, being helf by the axle, and holding a blade against it. So dangerous lol.

@Skip, that MFHZ looks killer with the "ano" removed. Those actually shine up really well. I remember seeing one on an asian forum that some guy polished and modded. The polish on it was so good, it looked like liquid metal. Almost made me want one...keyword being "almost"

@drewtetz, I've always liked the way your engraved yoyo's look. I still need to send you something to add your touch to.



I modded and dyed this 75th Anniversary Glow Zero and sent it to Stupendous a while ago for being so awesome and running the YYGS (man I miss that!). I really like the way it turned out.

Here's a batch I did for Turf forever ago. I switched the caps on them to change up the color combos before I sent them out.

Toxikon, that's actually red with blue caps (trans blue caps painted white underneath), but an odd photo taken with a less than stellar camera so it looks pink. The colors do pop though. And I really like that Zero you just posted. I've seen it somewhere before and I really really like it alot!
