Thread: Lyn fury new love!

Holy smokes! I modified my Lf with a concave bearing and the black gasket maker for silicone response. It plays as well as my h spin icon or any of my other fav non responsive throws.
I've never liked the LF because I could never get it all the way unresponsive. I did all the bearing cleaning, the polish to smooth the bearing, different sizes of shims. Even made a ton out of old credit cards, sanding down the orings. Even tried other bearings but it still did the same thing on a grind or suicide. Any kind of dead unresponsive trick. It would start coming back fast.

I think my biggest mistake at the time I bought the LF. (It was one of my first yoyos) was I also got the Plastic Grind machine. The PGM could do anything.

Now it fricken ROCKS!!!
best part didnt have to put a new recessed groove the one it comes with is deep enough.

I like to shave the o-rings so they're flush, KK bearings don't do anything but keep the string away from the response and stabilize the yoyo, so I just give the bearing a good cleaning, shave those rings, remove the caps (sometimes) and throw to my hearts content, I haven't had to replace the rings since I got the dang yoyo, plays like a dream, I always find myself going back to it.
