Thread: Fh2 Home-made thumb Grind mods...Anyone got some?

Hey guys this is my first post been yoin for a couple years but just started up again about 2 months ago. Anyyyyways...I popped off the pogs on my fh2 and i can actually thumb grind about 2 seconds but its really loud and it makes my thumb burn (those of you who have tried this, you know). Anywayy again, is there a way to make some metal rings to go around the edges so its possible to grind? Or do they sell them at theyo store? Thanks.

A couple of years ago somebody was selling metal ring inserts for the FHZ. I don't know if they fit the FH2. In any event I haven't seen them offered for sale for quite some time.

There are some flanges that are sold at the hardware store that will snap in place of the old school fh2's, I don't know about the new ones. Anyhow they make a nice thumb grind lip.
It looks like this. You will need to make the nipple shorter to do thumb grinds unless your fingers are smaller then mine, which they probably are.

No those rings will not work. They won't fit. If I had the time I'd make you some. For fee of course. lol There are other modders that may chime in.

You could have a modder cut you one up

an alternative may be to take some sand paper to the inner ring area.
