Thread: I'm about "Avengered Out"! (modding the Duncan Avenger)

Hello again, y'all!

Here's another topic to get your modding juices flowin'!

How would you mod an Avenger? If you check my album, you'll see that I have done quite a few.

I've flaired, butterflied, schmoove ringed, cut in weight rings,siliconed, added in different finishes to the rim, and much more.

So....I ask you....how would YOU do a mod?

I'm not trying to be mean here but it sure seems like you are tryingt to fit in WAY too hard. Just mod something them put a pic of it in the YoYo Picture Showcase subforum. That way it doesn't look like your trying to be a show-off. And it does look that way.

Thats NOT the case at all.

Someday, it'll all make sense....and when I say to you, "Icthus, remember when I was asking all those questions on how people would mod their yo-yos?" It'll all click. I promise. Trust me. And then you can say "hey! I know that dude!"

Honestly, Just as in real life, I could give a crap less if people on here "like" me. Not what I'm here for. If they don't like me....they can go pound salt.

Icthus - I've gotten to know ModFather a little lately, and you are misjudging him.

I know -I am new here, too (although I am on a few other forums) and I have no credibility yet, but I know the real person behind the screenname. I would suggest backing off a little and if you don't like something, attack what is said, not the person posting it. You really don't add anything when you say stuff like your post above. It's off-topic and completely unnecessary. Do you have any ideas on modding an avenger? No? OK, then don't assume you understand someone's motivation, and just ignore it.

Oh my gosh, it's the internet! IT'S SERIOUS BUSINESS PEOPLE!

This forum is not nasty AT ALL. Go hang out on a few gamer forums for a month or so, then you'll see how tame this place is.

You have no idea what I can do with my lathe and a yoyo. Don't assume that I don't know anything. I think everyone here can speak for me. I never said "hey look at me and my mods". I just posted pics of them and let the people say and think what they wanted. I didn't push it down anyone page or anything like that. AND I don't run around saying "check my album". I am also on the trusted modders list. I didn't ask to be put there. the people that know my work put me there. Do you get it now?

You're missing the point entirely....again, I promise it'll all make sense one day. If not, I'll explain to you, in detail, what is in the works right now.

There 's more to me saying....."check out my album"....I have a bad habit of answering a question from one post, on another to the same person.

Like I said before, I could care less what anyone thinks. I do know however, I am one of the best modders on here, and welcome any challenges on this fact. I'm not being a jerk...I just know what I can do, and how well I do it.

I'm not doubting any of those modders....in fact, the only one I know's work is Kyo. He for the most part is a jerk, but you can't take the fact he's talented away from him. However, I DID notice your name's NOT on the list!
