I've been siliconeing yoyos for quite a while, and this is the method i have found to work the cleanest.
yo-play filmed it, so any comments on the crappy should be directed at him

nice, good and clean. I actually goop it on without the nozzle and scrape it clean with an old joker card(me and my dad play cards all the time... never use the jokers).

Yep, thats pretty much how i do it except i generally just use my finger rather than a piece of paper. Same thing though

this might be really weird, but I lick my finger and then smooth it out.
it makes the sili not stick to me.
But then if I'm trading it away, I have to re-silicone it, because otherwise it'd be gross for them.

My father, at one time, made molds out of silicone. Soapy water was his best friend.
