My silk came with a black kentaro pad which is very unresponsive.
I have some flowable silicon and was wondering which would be more responsive? I would like my yoyo to be more responsive.

If you do the silicone flush rather than recessed, it'll be more responsive.

If you succeed in destroying someone's deeply entrenched beliefs using facts and logic, that person won't change his mind but will hate your guts forever.

If you leave it flush, yes.

If you succeed in destroying someone's deeply entrenched beliefs using facts and logic, that person won't change his mind but will hate your guts forever.

useful it is, but i find it more useful to try doing tricks on a responsive yoyo, because it tends to smoothen out my style of play... anyone else care to back me up on this?

A silk will not hold silicone at all. I tried drilling holes into it before giving up and just silicone recessing the whole groove deeper.

besides, a lot of players learn tricks on an unresonsive yo, then use a responsive one to smooth it out.
