Thread: 4a yoyo help

okay i want to try out some 4a so i got an xodus 2 and flying panda.....the panda has not arrived so the yomega is what im working with first. I deshielded and cleaned the ebaring does anyone recomend any other changes for 4a

If it works, don't fix it.

If it works fine for you, you probably don't need to do anything else. I just got a BigYo and I've done nothing to it, and it works perfect for me.

yeah the xodus is nice as is i think ill leave it

setup your bearing so it'll be responsive...4A is tons and tons and tons easier to pick up on the basics with a responsive bearing...just a simple catch and return is hard enough to learn on it's own without having to worry about double binding an unresponsive bearing...

yeah, i just like to have noise in my bearings, but whatever floats your boatt

i have the catch and return down so i cleaned the bearing i think i will keep the starburst so now i just have to learn some tricks...sounds simple lol

i use my speed maker for 4a its awsome

i need to get a speedmaker, journey, kickside or osmethign liek that to try with

well im not that hard core with my offstring i just do the forward pass mount then bring it back. its kinda just for fun, and i also like it for how small it is. i can understand why mickey likes this as his sig yoyo.

Stock, they are perfect.

the starbursts on the Xodus I used to have didnt grip very well...it always felt kinda sloppy to me, so I got rid of it...

agreed...though i only had to chance to throw my xodus ii for a day. i killed it tryin' to remove the starbursts. oh well, i still got some nice rubber weight rings outta the deal.

btw...dark magic, also a very good 'smaller' 4a yo yo, imho.
