Thread: can you satin the hg matierial?

i want to satin my black gold but i wanted to make sure i could

the HG has a pretty nice texture to it already. It really doesn't need a satin. But to anwer your question, yes you can satin it.

it also grinds very nicely without satin...you wont notice much difference at all between stock finish and a satined finish on a HG...

i dunno why you'd wanna satin an Hg...it already has a damn good finish as is.

it is very easy to screw it up though, plus it looks crappy if you want to satin an hg only do the plastic with rough steel wool then go over it with fine steel wool very fast(on a dremel of course)
