I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to make my Throw Monkey less responsive. I was thinking of pulling one of the stickers out and seeing what that does. However, I thought I'd see if anyone else had ever had this problem and what they did. When this thing is on the string it moves in for the kill, my knuckles and my thumb can attest.

Yeah, the TM can be hard to deal with..friction stickers are murder to me, so I put in 1 thin dif, then tuned the gap as far apart as I could without it falling apart. Plays fine like that, just dont hit anything, or it will unscrew itself.

If you have two friction stickers in it, take one out. Same advice as for a FHZ.

You could put some dif-pads in it, or you could just take one of the Duncan stickers out and break in the other one.

Without actually modding the yoyo, just try what these guys said. One sticker works a lot better than 2. I've got one side of mine recessed for silicone, and it's insane how much better it plays than stock. The TM is such a great yoyo(IMO).
