The most common advice I hear is to get a new yoyo.

Dude, Jeffrey. Been super long. How have you been? Haven't talk since the yoyoskills review. You should make video. I love your videos and I think it would put the pep back into your yoyoing step.

I'd say to try a new style. I recently got into 5A and its like getting the yo-yo bug all over again. Give it a shot!

Mr. Pang!!! Pleasure seeing you round these parts! How you been, buddy?
I heard I should buy a new yo, IDK if I should go for a DM or something cheaper like a Journey. It's gonna get all screwed up, it'll be my every day yo (not willing to screw up my Air Rider).

Lot of old timers in this thread... Good to see AC hasn't left these parts. Someone has to guide the new guys the right way.
Oh, and Jeff- yoyos suck these days. Forget about finding that fire for collecting them all you once had, and just get up, put on some music, and throw for a bit. It'll come back to you.
Oh, and watch this video by Jason Lee.

I remember when we all used to make threads about how we missed the old yoyoers who used to post here and now we are those old yoyoers who used to post here.
I think a lot of the passion in yoyoing for us was seeing new things that we couldn't do, but now it's too easy to know how to do a trick by watching someone do it, since we've learned most of the stuff bit by bit throughout these long years. Best trick would be to find someone who is doing something you've never seen before and try to learn that. Think about when horizontal tricks broke the scene, I dunno about you, but that sparked my interest up more than it had been. Now, it's gone again so i'm searching for that next thing. You should too!
Good to see you guys post on our Home forum again. Wish it felt the same as it did back then. :)

Reed, that video is awesome. JP, it's been a while--Have a late night looping/brent stole contest with a bunch of kids. I hear that's always a good time. Of course, we'd need to track down Travis, he seems to be the only one missing from this little reunion.

Travis is awesome. I hung out with him a few times when I was living in NYC- hoping to get back there. The NYYYC needs me.

Well I made one order that will make sure Ill yo=yo for a while - 1000 pack of slick 6! Hah
I just wish we all lived in the same city or something.
Ill make a yoyo video explaining why I haven't touched a yoyo in like 7 months. Also making up new tricks now! Its fun.
Jason Lee is awesome.
And I have to agree with Jarad, back then everything was so new. Everyone hits the plateau where you're good enough to learn any trick, but not good enough to invent those awesome tricks like the pros...
Well, Ill keep trying : )
Keep this thread alive- although I don't think it will be hard considering how dead it is on here : (
Lots of love.

I would settle for the same state even! This pesky international business is no good. I guess it's time you move to America Jeff ;D (OH OH OH! I just bought - still waiting for it to get here- a certain Oxy 4 #75 you might remember xD xD xD)
Since worlds I've been yoyoing more than I had previously, all the yoyoing excitement has gotten to me, and new yoyos help too.Sic semper tyrannis
