The three Peak colorways Bearing-Gull, Wolf Lake, and Wintergreen are all very similar, and you can definitely group them together. I've heard people say that the Wintergreen Peak will play better than the others due to the color of the ano on it. Any truth to this?

Meaning the ano itself makes the yoyo play better, or that batch was made differently?
Ano definitely won't change play.

I'm not sure at all what this means. The wolf doesnt play any better but the wintergreen will play at least 7 times better because of the color.

KiLbUcK from that other forum.
It's strange hearing a comment like that, since everyone seems to be digging Wolf Lake far more than Wintergreen. I thought it might have been sarcastic, but then I began thinking about whether or not the deepness of color in the ano adds/removes different amounts of material to the yoyo.

I dunno man.
If ano affected play, there'd be more coverage on it.Musical impressions define inspiration for years.

I do know that different types of ano add different thicknesses to the yoyo.
Hardcoats are bigger than type 2, for example.Theyo.com: The Final Frontier. To boldly troll where no troll has trolled before...

Yep. Anodize can definitely change the play of a yoyo. Vibe included.

It all depends on if they do it or if they send them out to have them done. The hardcoat and acid etch can definitely do it.

Then you have Vendetta. One who actually bought his setup for the sole purpose to anodize yoyo's. This means he takes pride in it and does it right every time.

Hard coat adds to the yoyo I think. Bright dip takes away from the yoyo if left in too long.
I think acid etch and bright dip are the same but not sure.
