Looks pretty solid.

Stop worrying about what yoyo you should be playing, and just play yoyo. (pssst I am not Landon)

OOOHHh, Very nice... I wonder how it feels on the string. If it is anything like the 5-star this thing is going to be a solid winner.

Explain how it is different, because from here it doesn't look at all different than what is on the market today. Let's see: silicone or pad, undersized, in the range of 60 - 70 grams, and everything else about it pretty much labels a good number of yoyos released in the past couple years.

Why the hostility around here lately?
Convenient how you opted to leave out the width. Not only that, but are you still that much of a n00b that you still believe you can determine exactly how a yoyo plays based on the specs?
If we are being technical, I said a "bit" different, which implies a little. So, even if it was just the width to diameter ratio that was different about it, my description is still valid. But, I have given you more, and implied in my previous paragraph that it also plays differently from what is currently out there. Guess you'll have to try one for yourself.
"...everything else about it pretty much labels a good number of yoyos released in the past couple years."
False. Not only did my post explicitly refer to yoyos on the market TODAY, the "good number of yoyos" that you are referring to weren't made by Ernie.

I think the fact is Durfee that all the bases have been covered over the years - there are only so many new designs you can come up with that still play properly - the fact is, that this traditional shape works really well.
Sure its nothing revolutionary, and personally it doesn't attract me - but from what I've heard about the general yos it'll play like a beast :)

The profile reminds me alot of the oxy 4, if you look at them side to side the hatrick is just wider, but the oxy 4 does go flat on the rims, just not as much, the enormous gap helps too.
