Thread: I had an Awesome vacation! (lots of big pictures)

Hey Everyone,

I recently went on vacation with my Mom, Dad, and my Sister(shes 9). I am located in Central Minnesota.


So first we drove to Oacoma, SD. I got some pictures there.













Then we moved on and went to a cabin resort in Custer, SD.Its about 20 Miles away from Mt. Rushmore. Here is a picture of the cabin.



Here is me Yoyoing around there.





And here is mount rushmore.



And of course, we saw Buffalo!





And then the next day we went to Bear Country USA. It is like a Drive-through Zoo with Bears and other animals. Here is some pictures of the bears.





Then i yoyoed there by the sign.



Then the next day we moved down the road since we could only stay at that cabin for 2 nights. So here is the newer cabin.



And it had a Creek that was flowing right next to it and their was a small waterfall there. So here is some pictures of me yoyoing by it.





Amd a last fun shot, when my yoyo knotted.

nice! i went to mount rushmore and that drive through buffalo place a few years ago. looks like you got some good pics too!

Yes, nice trip. I've been out to the Black Hills 5 times since 1992. It's a 12-13 hr trek from Minneapolis, but nice once you get there.

We ended up pronouncing it like ah-coma. But my moms first try sounded like coca-cola.

It was quite a long drive in are smaller Mazda. But we managed, somehow. And we went to Mt. Rushmore on July 5th, so it wasnt like floods of crowds, but their was still a lot of people there.

Learned a lot out there too...

I always say it like oak. But I refer to the whole area as Chamberlain in any event.

In reality it's probably o-a-coma with a short a in both cases. The Oahe dam, just up stream is o-a-he (ōwä'hē).

yep, right next to Chamberlain.

Yep, we drove over the River and my sister was like "woah, thats a big pond."


You know 9 year olds. haha.

Yeah man, that lyn is my favorite plastic. It is schmooved and siliconed. I had a Speeder with me too but, Lyn is more awesome.
