i dont skate so i dno, but the lubes required for skate bearings tend to be thicker than you would need for a yo.
If you lubed up a skateboard with the same setup as a yoyo you would go like sh** off a shovel

i have tried speed cream skate lube... that was thick, but smooth. and it took like 2 weeks for a pin tip to burn out. so long lasting...

He might be lying about it being YOYOJAM thin lube. Sounds to me like he used skateboard bearing lube on his yoyo bearing. It slowed the yo down, so he made the original thread. The answer is all he has to do is clean the bearing in paint thinner. Originally Posted by jhb8426

It's elementary, my dear.
