Thread: First metal yo

I decided to but my first metal yo and i need your help...
i do not really like difs and my range is 65$ w\o shipping...
Would you help me?

there isnt much for 65 unless you want to buy used

wellll.... i wouldn't say thaaatt.... there is the metal fhz 2....

other than that, i would go for a used spy... for my first metal i got a pyro light.... in my opinion it takes waaayyy too much patience to get it to how you like + a kk.... go spyder (used or new... keep checking the B/S/T area)
also, you might just want to get yourself an axiom. i know they are above your range, but your range is a... middleish one.

metal fhz2= $40
spyder= $83.95
axiom=$86.95

frankly i would get all of those if i could... they are all nice ...

Does Mike still have any Air Riders? Those were only like $55 and they play great.

What can you tell me about the "Dif-e-YoZip FlyF"?

Actually, I have never used one of those.

But I would recommend the Barebones, Bonechip, Tank, or GTO.
The Wide Sport, Wide Load, and Sportster are good too.

I really like my Metal Zero. Plays really well.

go for the metal zero for a first one, if your budget is firm. then you get a reliably good yoyo, for a cheap price. it is not the best as are spyy, or hspin (just putting it out there), or yoyofactory red alert line. but it will do, and it has some pretty stable feedback...

ok..sorry for confusing you but i decided to go on half metal body and i wanna know what is your opinion about the hitman and the X-Convict, whose better?

Either one is good. But the HM is a little better IMO. X-con can be a little susceptible to slight wobble due to a bad throw. But it's a great player if you pay attention. The HM is a little more forgiving.

ok... i really pay attention to my throws so i decided geting X-Convict(that is also very SEXY!)

i gots a blackstar x-con that i will sell eventually if someone wants to get it...

i personally dont like my x-con, but it is all personal preference.

speeders, and hitmans are uber popular. dm is LARGE.
in my opinion you can extend the gap to it's max easier on a hm...
other than that... choose something that you thinks looks cool. yoyojam almost never makes a suckish yoyo

i have tried a mini motu, and i liked that, nearly as much as i love my kk'd hitman (blue, cause blue rocks!)

hmm...the zzzip-fly is quite a fun player. i've been carryin' mine around for the last week.

accuracy is key w/ a zzzip-fly, imho. the bearin' gap is just 'bout as wide as each yo yo half...so if i'm not throwin' a straight game, then it just don't work. w/ other yo yos, i noticed, the curve of each half will help guide the string back to center...if the yo yoin' gets sloppy.

'market' place difs aren't meant to be collected. to me, they're meant to be played...indoors, outdoors, on grass, on concrete; dings and all.

but i'm biased...i'd buy anythin' Frank Difeo would put out.
