You know your obsessed with yoyoing when...

You work at a Papa Murphys and spin a pizza cutter and say, "this would spin alot faster with a bearing"

When you drop your Wii nunchuk, and you tug on it and expect it to roll up the cable to your hand. (Been there...)

eh, it DOES come up for me :P

when you are trying to come up with other signs of yo-yo obsession that top all the others posted thus far and is a least somewhat original

When you can say you have been yoyoing for 20 yrs or more (and proud of it!)

When you spend more money than you normally spend taking your family out to a nice sit down restaurant on one yoyo purchase

When you explain to your 9-yr-old the different parts and features of yoyos and how they effect play

when your friend starts having dreams about yoyos because you got him hooked on it

when your seriously considering opening a yoyo store in the middle of nowhere

when you try to get kids at your child's school interested in yoyoing by taking your yoyos with you when you pick them up from school and bustin out tricks in the lobby while you wait for them to all get out of class

when you make your kid read a yoyo book and learn a few new tricks before you let them get a new yoyo

when you bring a yoyo to "Meet the Teacher Day" at the begining of the school year and demo a few tricks to your kid's teacher

when ever you take a walk, you do yoyo tricks along the whole way

when neighborhood kids notice when you don't

when the idea of a parent actually saying the yoyoing is an unheathy obssession is mind boggling to you as a parent yourself (There are many things that are much more unhealthy. at least your not into drugs or something. )

when you did not have to make up a single one of these ideas, but drew them all from personal life experience

when you as old as I am, or older, and you don't care that some people think that you are to old to be playing with a yoyo

when you tell your father-in-law who is a machinist that you are considering designing a yoyo and you want his help to make it

when you have this much or more things to say about being obsessed with yoyoing, you know you are there

more possibly to come....

When you do the above, but with an eye out for the principal, hoping you don't get caught and in trouble. (I'd really hate to have my toys confiscated by the principal in front of my children. :-)

Oh, I always ask permission. In fact I yoyo right outside the principal's office. and I always use brand new string to minimize any chance of breakage. (In the school I went to they did not ban them until an innocent bystander was injured. Therefore I am extremely careful. Maintain you "circle of danger" and all that.)

When you take your yoyo with you to your professional job everyday and take bathroom breaks so you can practice your kamikaze for a couple minutes without getting caught yoyo'ing on the job.

when you use a dragonfly even though it sucks like hell and is .

when u use a yoyo to protect urself by doing an aroundtheworld.

when you break rules to yoyo.though everyone does it and you want to feel different.

when... YOU DONT WANT A THREAD TO DIE OR YOU WILL RECOIL IN HORROR.

when you dont run out of ideas for threads

when you forget the pizza in the oven because youre posting a thread (me)

when you yoyo wilst climbing a 1000 metre cliff.

when you use yoyos to do easy stuff hoping it will help you get better

when you enoy everyone by making youre bearing make an enoying schreeching noise not bothering to clean it because youve nearly completed an amazing trick

when you do this when youre new 888 comes .

haha did that before..... except i know how to do kamikaze, but yeah i was standing there and im like wew im getting paid to yoyo........



and you know your obsessed when you have to write a paper on camparing things and the first thing I thought of was "What is better, a plastic yoyo or a metal"

haha that was the easiest paper I ever had to write..

idc in my book as a for a begginer boing boing is one of the hardest tricks to master ... it took me like 3 months to get it perfected ... now that stupid takeshi boing has got me all messed up

I'm not sure what the 'takeshi boing' is but, I've been having a lot of trouble with the boing when you let the yoyo go below your finger, and it bounces underneath. that is still beyond me.

Last night, I dreamt that I found an entire case of yoyos that had like 150 yoyos in it. I posted on theyo saying I found it (I was happy just finding a new yoyoer). Nobody replied. I brought it to the police and nobody picked it up.
I ended up with over 150 yoyos. All of which were worth at least $80. I picked up a BSP (one of 6!!!)....and then I woke up.
My mom woke me up. I wanted to strangle her. I was actually about to cry.
The other nights are me dreaming of practicing tricks. It has not helped in real life at all.

dude i totally had that same feeling when i was dreaming i was rocking on the stage at nationals with this bad@$$ song that i've never heard before in my life ... then my granny wakes me up telling me i'm late for school... i mean it was like the best dream i'd had in forever (i'd been having dreams about knocking my self out with the yo in front of this girl i like)...
