Hello,
Not trying to burst anyone's bubble here, but keeping all reviews for one yo-yo in one thread is lame.
Pros:
1. Find all the reviews for one yo-yo in the same place.
2. Find all the reviews for one yo-yo in the same place.
Cons:
1. You have to read all the stupid stuff people say after the review that doesn't teach you anything about the yo-yo. If the 3rd reviewer is the best, you might find him on page 3 of the review thread.
2. If someone sees a review thread that is 5 pages long, they might not review the yo-yo, thinking that everything has already been said. I think you end up with less reviews overall.
3. When you add your 2 cents at the end of all those comments, you bump a 5 page thread to the top.
Is anyone else bothered by this lumping of threads? Do you really get that many review threads?

No. It was a carefully considered decision.
Is anyone else bothered by this lumping of threads?

there's no need in having 20 threads on the same yoyo...especially when something new comes out and alot of people are getting that new yo and want to talk about it...
cluttered = lame

then why not remove the excess comments from them that are unrelated.. wouldn't that be an easy comprimise?
I understand not having a ton of threads about a single thing.. but the real point of a review section is to be easily readable isn't it? so people can actually FIND what they are looking for.
KyleYou can argue with me, but you'll still be wrong.

As a moderator on a board that many people criticize as moderating too much, I would shy away from heavily hacking up a long thread like that. Most of what's being said is in some way related to the thread, so people would very likely be angry at us butchering their stuff out.

i really like havin all the reviews about one yoyo in a single thread. if u really want to know about a yoyo theres alot of info in one spot. theres no need to go thru hundreds of search results. ppl do an ok job of staying on topic, if they dont a moderator will step in. even so its just a few flicks of a mouse wheel to skip past the pointless ones.
