As we all know, mother nature is creating havok in many
places throughout this world. People being displaced.
Disaster is striking in ways that are horrifying to
everyone. We Diss Kings hold the highest reguard for all
who offer aid to those who need it. As after some
deliberation and restructuring, we have come to the
conclusion that yet again we must throw in as best we can.
And thus..........
The Diss Kings are proud to announce that they will be
donating $2 from every disskings.com shirt order ($4 from
every sweatshirt) to the Salvation Army's 2005 disaster
relief fund. We also now have a "hoody and two shirts" deal
that will donate $10 and be shipped FREE to you in the USA
(the shirts ship free dummy, not the $10). You get any two
of the Diss Kings t-shirts and a Duncan*love* sweatshirt
for $55. Plus the free shipping mentioned earlier (you DO
remember that right?).
We have also posted a few powdercoated Difeyos. $15 from
each of the difeyos will also be donated to the Salvation
Army.
The residents of the US gulf coast have a long road of
cleanup and rebuilding ahead of them, and the Salvation
Army is right in the middle of everything. They provide
food, drinking water, cleaning supplies, and manpower
throughout disaster affect areas.
Along with being involved coordinating relief efforts in
over 30 states, as of Sept 12 the Salvation Army has served
740,000 meals in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana alone.
And with the immediate threat of the flooding passing by,
the Salvation Army will have an even larger roll in as the
residents of the gulf coast return and start the rebuilding
process.
If everyone does a little something, we can all help our
fellow man in his/her time of need. If you only have $15 to
donate, then donate it directly to the Salvation Army or
the Red Cross. The folks in the gulf coast need your help.
But if you were thinking of buying any of the Diss Kings
shirts, now is a good time to do so.
Thank you for any support you can offer to the relief
effort. All good deeds are rewarded with a presence of
goodness.
