Thread: Back from a long hiatus

Hey guys, Im not sure if many people will remember me, but i was active around 2010. Since then i have gone off to college, and generally been busy, but I have never stopped throwing entirely. Recently, i have started the semester this spring and have had way more time to dedicate to throwing, and it has been nearly as much fun as when I first started again. Everything about yoyoing feels "fresh" again, and It has been a blast!

Is there anybody on the forums from the Champaign-urbana area of illinois now days?

Thanks guys. Humphry, what type of engineering are you looking into?

I've heard they have a pretty good aero engineering program there.

I'm looking at an ECE double major. The Blue Waters supercomputer and on campus semiconductor lab really appeal to me. The engineering there is phenomenal, for sure one of the best in the country in any of the fields.

I just need to find a way around out of state tuition. I live less than 3 miles from the Illinois border, but that makes my tuition cost $25,000 more a year...

Scholarships? Many colleges I applied to offered to wave the out-of-state price and let me pay in-state. Its a pseudo-scholarship, I guess.

Nope. Illinois doesn't have reciprocity with Missouri.

If I was in state, I'd have a full ride, but alas...
