Thread: I'm new here but not at yoyos

im 13 yrs old and i want to buy a yoyo that can do a good sleeper and can do loops.
any suggestions?
Is there a site that as reviews of yoyos and ratings.
Where can i buy good yoyos at the phillipines?

Welcome! About your questions: A yoyo I would recommend would be the BumbleBee by Duncan, it's a shape-mix of a moth and a imperial. It's also ball bearing and has cork-brake pads (which make the yo-yo responsive enough for looping).

About sites with reviews: You can't "tell" or place weblinks to other sites that sell products here on this board. That rule is just in case the owner of the site just doesn't come to solicitate. But you'll have luck googling "yo-yo reviews" or something similar. This board does have some reviews.

About buying yoyos in the Phillipinnes (sp?) I can't help, sorry! THis board also has some stores listed that sell yoyos but I'm not sure if any are in the Philipinnes. (sp? I am really bad a spelling)

Welcome again, and I hope you have fun here! In case you get a Freehand Zero (good for string tricks, bad for looping), alot of people here will mod it for you for a good price!

Hey there my friend. As I heard you want to learn. I suggest you getting 2 different yoyos. Order from here a Kickside/Speedmaker/Lyn Fury/ and 100 slick 6 strings. And for the yoyos in the Philippines heres a link for you.

Yoyojam plastic yoyos can do any trick invented... almost.

For looping either the raider or the tornado will work. I prefer the raider. But turbo bumblebees are good too.
The bumblebee will sleep as long as you can make it.

Get the Kickside.

Forget the Bumblebee and all you have ever heard about it.

modding stands for modifying - making a yoyo better, by means of adding new response systems or weights, and stuff like that

i can't buy yoyojams.
Im in the Phillipines and only duncans and some yomegas are here.(i think)

the kickside should run you about 15$ USD and then there's the 4.95$ USD shipping cost, so the total cost will be like, 21 something USD

The Lyn is a good choice as well, but I still prefer the Kickside.

Both can do the exact same thing, however.
