9:00 - 10:00 Registration
9:30 - 10:00 Yo-Yo Sports Ladders
10:30 - 11:00 Novice Division
11:00 - 12:00 1A Preliminaries
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 1A, Spin Top Freestyles
5:00 Awards Ceremony

Prelims: 1A only (1 minute)
Championship Divisions: 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A (2 minutes)
Yo-Yo Ladder: Under 12, 12-20, 21 and up
Novice Freestyle: (open to anyone looking to compete in a less competitive division) (1 minute, DJ selects music)
Other events: Spin Top Freestyles (2 min. 1st throw has to be fixed tip)

Cost:
Championship Divisions - $10 for the first division, $5 for each additional division
Other Divisions - $5 each
If entering a championship division, you cannot enter Ladder or Novice Freestyles

Yo-Yo Prizes: Cash and Official Red Duncan Jackets for the 1st of each Championship Division
Spin Top Freestyle Prizes: 1st $125, 2nd $50, 3rd $25

1A Division Pre Qualified Requirements:
These players do not have to compete in the 1A preliminaries:
All previous BAC 1A champions of any year
All previous World 1A champions of any year
All previous National 1A champions of any year
2008 National and World 1A finalists
Current Region 8: Pacific Region: California (Northern), Nevada (Northern), Utah, Hawaii 1A champions

Music:
Music must be provided on a CD. The disc must be clearly labeled with the contestant's name, the division it is for, and the track number to be used. One track per CD. If you are entering more than one division, you will have to have one CD for each division.

Parking:
Street parking is located throughout Golden Gate Park and the neighboring areas. If coming from the north, the Concourse Parking Facility is located on Fulton Street and 10th Avenue. From the south, enter the park from 9th Avenue and Lincoln Street then take a right on Music Concourse Drive to enter the garage. Please note that on weekends and holidays, the garage often fills to capacity early in the day.

There's limited street parking, but you can take the BART train almost directly there from the Holiday Inn (The stop is 16th St Mission), and numerous bus lines all make a stop nearby.

That's right, I'll be spinning the tunes.

If you are competing, please bring a separate CD for each division in which you are competing with the music you want burned to track 1, and your name and the division written on it. I will have a marker if you need to write it on the day. We've got a lot of competitors and divisions and this will ensure that you'll have the music you want playing when you're onstage.

I'll be making an appearance! Might just meet AC in real life! :O

Tarvis, you will be one lucky dog to meet the legendary AC IRL! :O

I had a great time. It was the first yo competition I've been to. I definitely saw some amazing stuff and took home some goodies too. Thanks to everyone that helped make it happen and all the sponsors, especially YYJ for a nice Hitman and Lyn and to Ben at YYF - your generosity is truely top-notch, like your work.

Funny story: Picked up a DV888 before things got started, and liked it so much I used it in the sports ladder.
