Iam inerested how an club is funcioning,which is the main concept on which club works?

I have some limited experience with a club that meets at a store here. The club has been in existence for awhile, and has a number of branches throughout the area. The only branch I am familiar with is just restarting after getting some issues worked out with the store for meeting space. I understand the other branches have been a little more active, but I don't know for sure.

It is mainly a place to get together to yoyo, learn/trade tricks etc. The organizer is also a tester for the spintastics and YYJ badge programs, so that is also a part of it.

Also the club is an organizer for local contests and the state and regional AYYA contests.

It seems to be very loosely organized. The club has a website that doesn't seem to get updated too often. There is a roster on the website. Don't know who is responsible for doing the roster or if it is maintained as new members come around because when I showed up it was more or less "Hi, how are you, welcome to the club" sort of thing with no registration or anything. I'm ok with that.

Well, that's my (limited) experience.

well for me a club means hang out together have fun about the same subject n discuss.i had lots of fun while teaching tricks to others at the singapore national championship.n got accepted as member of dcs[duncan crew singapore]am team.they really can make yoyo seem fun.

They've got a real "Duncan Love" thing going over there and most of the duncan crew and DXL guys hangout there. And a lot of guys from singapore too. They'd probably appreciate your expertise and talents more than we do. It's a free form, open topic, anything goes kind of place. We're just a bunch of hack newbs here.

There are many more people from Singapore on the yoyoing.com board. You might know some of them. I know that Andrew Lim posts there.

yeah, maybe go talk to him. They might appreciate all your levels of expertise like JHB said. They might wanna join your team. Most of them might since theyre by you. We're not, a few are. So go on and post there
