Wood Competitions?

Are there any competitions held for wood, fixed axle, only? If so, where and when. If not, I wonder why. Modern medicine has produced a bumper crop of "old" guys, hey, I resemble that remark! But I wouldn't think it'd be necessary to be "old", to be interested in it.........

I doth concur!
I know Jack Ringca talked about doing a FS on wood 'fore.
Now that I've been messing around w/ my newly acquired apollo... I can see why.
It's tonnes of fun and a real challenge.

Anyways, I know that people talk about the "Fixed Axle Challenge" but I honestly don't know when or where it takes place.

The Apollo is one of my all time favorites. Until recently, the BC Rainbow was my favorite for Imperial style, but it's been deposed by the No Jive Special. The Special costs a bit more, but it plays almost by itself. If you get the opportunity to play or buy one, I don't think it'll disappoint you.

Well I guess we can ask Whats Next to run more Fixed Axle Challenges. I think I might have the Exteme Team flyers for it somewhere. In 99 at Hawaii's contest they gave the winners some cool custom made Mandalas. I'd kill all of you for one. Steve Brown took one home as a trophy.
