TOM KUHN SB2
i really like this yo so far. i've never had a true adjustable gap yo, and so far i really enjoy it. it feels like a light yo in my hand even with the waight rings added compared to my cold fusion, but still it sleeps well. i've gotta play around with the gap to find where it will sleep a little longer on the string and still return to my hand, but it'll come. i don't plan on playing this yo alot, but it's a really great piece for my collection. it came in a really nice profesional package, with a manual, leather tk yo pouch, gap adjustment tool, extra friction discs, and string.
so over all i'm happy with my purchase of this yo, though there is much better for around the price ($75).

YO-YO JAM BIG BEN PAINTED BY HIGBY
wow i love this yo. it works great. it sleeps forever and a half, and it doesn't slow at all on the string. this yo is HUGE and i wasn't expecting it to be that big, but i gotta say that once you get used to it, it's a great player. then i cleaned the bearing, and it got even better, much much better. now it sleeps like a dream, and works even better on the string. i had to put a tiny amount of lube on it to get it to return, but the lube hasn't affected anything but the responsivness of the yo. the ben that i got was painted by mr. yodel, and let me tell you this is the greatest looking work i've seen painted by higby. i've got one with the yodel guys painted on each half, one half has a blue back ground the other is yellow.
over all this yo was a steal imho for $28, and i love it, i plan on playing with this yo quite a bit, especialy when i'm trying to learn new string tricks, as it is very easy to land on the string do to the size and big gap.
thnx.

I got one of those Higby Big Bens, blue with Mr. Yodel characters, and Twitch is absolutely right. They play great, large and easy to land, beautiful response with the double o-rings, and best of all, a magnificent canvas for Mr. Higby flyin' art. A five star winner.
And the SB2, what can I say? A Tom Kuhn classic, expensive but can hold its own against anything available today. Also, the modified shape as opposed to wide butterfly, allows a greater variety of play. If you get the polished aluminum one and plan to store it for any length of time, remove the string as in rare cases acids on the string can cause some pitting on the inside over extended periods. A great collectible and player.
