Thread: Spore Character Creator

The video game Spore is coming out in a few months and they just released the character creator for it. You can download the trial version for free. It literally allows you to make any kind of character you want.

That game is going to be a universe full of walking private parts.

I DL'd it a few days ago when it got leaked onto some torrent sites. It is AWESOME!!! I'll definitely be buying the full creator and the full game when both release.

i havent checked up on Spore in a while. Did they change the multiplayer aspect in any way?

Hmm, I've heard of it before, but never knew what spore was until now.. I can't wait!

EDIT: I DL'ed it, but it wont start. I get an error message that says:

"Unable to locate component-
This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem"

Thats unfortunate. I can't wait for this game. It's so...huge! I'm almost skeptical of whether or not they'll be able to include all their plans and the advanced features that they unveil at E3 and boast about. Either way, its a must buy for me. Needless to say, I'm excited.

Well, I figured out that all I had to do was install the directX updates, but now my graphics aren't good enough, hence the reason I have to disable my on-board graphics...

I'm really pissed right now...

i told my dad about spore, and as soon as the creature creator came out, he bought the full version

lol, i heard about it in E3 i think it was 06.

this game is going to be legit.

I'm pissed that they want to make you get Leopard to play this game on Mac. Just stupid.

My macbook is coming w/ Leopard

There'll probably be a hack for it though (hopefully)

It's like your running windows 98. And the make you get XP to run the game.

Their game uses some of the improvements that have been made.

yeah, its not like they are making you get leopard to make money, its because they couldnt make it happen for powerpc's

atleast thats how i see it.
