There is no AND inbetween y and z.
And also there isn't any
"now I know my abcs, next time won't you sing with me?"
And that O looks suspiciously like an 0.
If at first you don't succeed, go ahead and secede!

An alphabet is written horizontally, not vertical.
Argh.. I can not spot the error.

"Well you got an organ going in there, no wonder the sound has so much body."

there is no error. . .
80% of the stanford students found no error. . because there is no error to be found.
as for the other 20%?. . .good question. . .maybe they just decided to give up looking for the error. . .which wasn't there, and just said "i don't know" or something along these lines. in my mind, the only answer is there is no error. . .anything else and your wrong.
thinking i'm full of it? prove me wrong.
thnx.
----edit----
lol when someone proves me wrong here. . .i'm really gonna feel stupid as i eat my words.
thnx again.

I believe this is a trick question where 80% of the students (Fake by the way) were correct in that there was no error in the alphabet.
There was no study by the way.
This is similar to the "world’s hardest riddle" with the polar bear.
The answer to that riddle was no it could not be solved so the children would get the correct answer and college students would not.Old dog trying to learn new tricks

This makes me wonder.
Say youre taking a multiple choice test in school, you dont know the answer, so you fill in a random bubble. Is this cheating? Seems to me this is just as bad as looking for the answer in the book. Since the test is to test your knowledge on the subject, unless of course its a deductive reasoning test.
Even if you can narrow it down to 2 answers, and guess, still cheating if you ask me.I used to think that the brain was the most wonderful organ in my body. Then I realized who was telling me this. - Emo Philips

Cheating? I think guessing's a little more accurate.
Guessing in no way guarantees a right answer; talented cheating does.
Not guessing is just like giving up -- "Oh, I'll never get this one, might as well not try."
If your teacher truly wants to test your knowledge, and not allow guessing, they usually do free response questions. All the teachers I know expect you to guess if you don't know the answer on multiple choice.
Multiple choice tests, to me, are more of a challenge. If the full extent of my knowledge on a subject needs to be known, there are much better ways of doing it than with multiple choice."2+2=5, for extremely large values of 2"

well I dont think its cheating, because everybody can do that. However, the people who are less than smart tend not to answer at all, Ive had a tough time trying to convince one of my friends to just guess the answer because there was no penalty for a wrong answer.

Not really... its like being honest about what youre getting tested on.
I guessed of course, heck, I even admit to cheating in a LOT of other ways. But when it comes down to it, its cheating.. It is a test not a game show :P
And im sure multiple choice has nothing to do with making grading it easier for the teacher ;)I used to think that the brain was the most wonderful organ in my body. Then I realized who was telling me this. - Emo Philips
