65 here. . .i love the game.
you using the d-pad, or the touchscreen for control?. . .i'm using the touchscreen and loving it.
the game gets waaay hard in my opinion. . .i either get completely lost in levels, and can't figure out how to get a star, or else i die. . .alot. . .hehe.
i have 9,999 points, and 800 stars in luigi's picture poker mini game. . .i'll be taking a picture once i hit 999 stars (i have pics of 9999 points, and 305 stars).
anyhow. . .great game.
thnx.

The game is great. I got it x-mas day and its all ive been playing. I myself, get lost some times. You know about the painting of the Princess right? You can jump through it and get the 1 up's. there is one as your going down and there is another hidden behind the box at the end. you dont get to keep them when you save but it does help you if you only have 1 life left. If you need more specific directions to it just PM me.

This game rules.
I never get lost though.
But that probably because I beat the one for N64 so I pretty much know exactly what to do.

couple of things i know:

i also know that i can't stand gta games. . .they don't do anything for me. i just don't like how open ended it is. . .i get bored easily. i'm only like 1% of the gaming world that doesn't enjoy gta, lol.
about the release for san andreas for the x-box, and pc.
this is uncomfirmed. . .but i trust the source:
june 7th of 2005.
that's about 8 months after the release for the ps2.
thnx.

why do i say this?
there's not enough truely great ds titles out right now. i love mario 64 ds. . .didn't like feel the magic at all. . .and will probably end up picking up tiger woods.
however none of these titles should be a console seller in my opinion. though mario 64ds is a great game. . .it's what. . .8 years old? and the other games out right now, are only so-so.
but within the next year the ds will have tons of truely great, original games. . .mario kart ds, jam with the band (or is it band brothers?), a completely new mario game. . .all sorts of great must have games.
so get a ds if your into portable gaming systems, and want something thats completely inovative, and fresh. . .or else just wait for awhile, for more games to come out.
also the psp will hopefully be out sometime in march. . .that'll be another must have. . .bah! i want one now! (now if only i could learn japanese. . .so i can import one! hehe).
thnx.

Here's why I'm holding off on a DS:
Too happy with PS2/PC right now.
Don't need more things to do in my spare time, need spare time first.
Nintendo had SPs partially manufactured when Advances were released.
Normal in the industry? Sure. Does that make it okay? No.
Wait a year, a smaller, sleeker DS will come out, and it will solve some soon to pop up problems of the DS.

lmao. . .can't really argue with anything you say shock.
i personaly would rather not wait for a "newer" "slicker" "color cased" ds to come out however. i wanted one near the release date, because it's the most powerfull, inovative, creative, and quite simply amazing handheld gaming device to have come out (doesn't really count powerwise now that the psp is out {in japan}). . .i had to have one. i still enjoy my gba sp, but i wanted something new. . .that's where the ds comes into play.
it's hard to recomend the ds to someone who just isn't sure if they want it though. . .not yet (read above, about the lack of games). . .but for those who want the newest, coolest way to game on the go. . .the ds is for them.
anyhow, i just beat feel the magic. . .and i've had a change of heart for the game.
i just didn't give it a chance. . .i couldn't get past a stage, and pretty much gave up on it.
but it gets really fun. . .i especialy love the "dance" game, and chaser (though i hate monocycle. . .lmao).
if i had to give it a score from 0-10, i'd give it a 7 after beating story mode.
p.s.
just a guess. . .but i bet you'd get a psp over a ds anyhow. . .right? (shock).
thnx.

haven't played either myself.
i might end up getting the urbz. . .but i'm not sure exactly yet.
i have mario 64, and feel the magic, and want a new game. . .i have it narrowed down to 3 choices.
tiger woods ds (i'm not a golfer. . .but i did love both the mario handheld games {advance tour, and mario golf color).
mr. driller ds (looks interesting, challenging, and addicting.)
the urbz ds (looks addictive. . .though i didn't enjoy the original sims that came out on the ps2 a couple of years ago. . .the urbz seems alot better though.)
at any rate i'll let you know what i get. . .and my first impresions on the game.
thnx.

I played Asphalt GT on the DS I owned for a few days.It is a great racer it was ported from the N-gage that I own now exactly the same game except in the Ds version you get the Vw Golf and the beatle GTI . Instead of one in the N-gage.What I like about Aspahlt GT is you can up grade the bodies to look like the real GT racing cars in JGTC ,DTM, British GT and american Gt championships.I really like the audi TT as my favorite car it has 4 wheel drive is a very balanced car so handles great.

Slow down, you move too fast
You've got to make the morning last
Just kickin' down the cobble stones
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy

Heh, I was a little under the weather when I wrote my last post here...
Yeah, I love the DS in terms of playability and innovation, my only problem is that it looks like it could damage easily (it's a little "light" to me, not solid feeling, scratchable play area). Otherwise, I'm glad you're enjoying the heck out of it, Twitch.
As for the PSP, I think I'd rather just buy a VGA adapter and a PS3 later on. Besides, the more I see the PSP, the more I get the feeling that it's just a small PS2. The power is kind of underwhelming... I just want to see what PS3 will do for me. Portables are a luxury I can't really afford now (time and money wise). I love that they're out though, and there's been a lot of neato innovation.

the urbz ds. . .
got this game lastnight. . .
i'm completely addicted. . .which suprises me.
i played the first sims game on the consoles a few years ago when it came out for the ps2. . .i hated the game. the motives (using the bathroom, showering, eating, etc) got really annoying fast in the game. . .and the whole game just felt overwhelming. . .ultimatly i got board with the game, put it away, and never touched it again.
the urbz for the ds on the other hand, is a completely different game. you still have the motives. . .and you do have to constantly keep them in check still. . .but this go around you actualy have a ton of missions to complete. it gives it a rpg feel. . .and keeps the game moving, and fresh.
it's kind of hard to explain the urbz ds. . .it's just got a special charm to it. . .i love this game, and am having a blast with it.
this said, there are a few things that are a bit bad with the game.
1. the graphics are the same as the gba version. the ds is capable of much more then this. . .but this game doesn't utilize the ds's graphics capabilities.
2. the music gets old. . .it's the same loops over, and over, and over. . .
3. you spend more time on the motives then the actual game play. . .and it gets reallllly annoying when your talking to someone about something important. . .and your character stops responding cause he has to goto the bathroom.
however this game is still very fun for me. graphics don't make a game. . .gameplay does, and this game has it. i wish there was more variety with the music. . .but this too can be easily overlooked.
and lets face it. . .this just wouldn't be the same game without the motives. . .though it can be annoying. . .it's still kinda fun having to watch out for your little sim in so many ways.
out of 10, i'd give this game a solid 8. . .it's a great game for the ds.
thnx.
